Warm, sweet, and impossibly versatile, this is the oil that belongs at every brunch and every holiday table.
Oranges from Bodrum, Türkiye (the same Aegean coastal region that supplies our lemon and tangerine) are cold pressed together with our Yamalak Sarisi olives using the Agrumato method. Bodrum's sun, mineral-rich soil, and sea breezes produce oranges with a natural sweetness that commercial varieties simply cannot match. The orange's essential oils merge permanently with the olive oil during pressing, creating a naturally sweet, beautifully rounded flavor. Drizzle over dark chocolate brownies (trust us), use it as a marinade for pork, or pour over French toast on a Sunday morning. It is warmer and more full-bodied than our lemon oil, and pairs with sweet and savory dishes equally well. |
|
| Tasting Notes | Sweet Bodrum orange peel. Rounded citrus with honeyed notes. Full-bodied and mellow. Smooth, herbaceous olive oil finish. |
| Best Paired With | Roasted pork tenderloin, sweet potatoes, couscous, Moroccan tagines, chocolate desserts, pancakes, French toast, dark chocolate brownies, cheese platters (aged gouda, manchego), spinach salad with goat cheese, roasted fennel, Brussels sprouts, grilled tofu, and yogurt with honey and granola. |
| Culinary Tip | Drizzle over dark chocolate brownies just before serving - the warm orange and rich chocolate combination is unforgettable. Also works beautifully in place of neutral oil in orange cake recipes. |
| Health Benefits |
Pairs the polyphenols and Vitamin E of extra virgin olive oil with the Vitamin C and citrus acids in fresh oranges. The orange's natural acids may support digestion, while the olive oil's monounsaturated fats provide sustained energy.*
